Please read the following as you will be asked to sign it when you report to the Information Booth:

Contestants are encouraged to sign up online at www.swampfestweekiwachee.com. We’ll have a copy ready when you check in at the Information booth. Or, you can sign up on the day of the contest.

Saturday’s contestants must show up and sign in at the Information Booth by 10:30 am and report to the Entertainment Stage area 20 minutes before the crowning. This will give you time to interact with the community before the contest.

Contestants are encouraged to make as much of their costume as possible. Judging is based on creativity, amount of work involved and fitting a swamp theme. You may be asked questions during the contest to help the judges make their final decisions.

After the contest, Contestants are encouraged to remain in costume and circulate throughout the Festival as much as possible.

Winning costumes are not eligible to enter in future Swamp Monster Contests. However, they are eligible to enter until the costume has won a prize.

Your signature below is agreement that all Photos of contestants belong to Swamp Fest and may be used in future Swamp Fest promotions and advertising. Decision of the judges will be final.
