The Weeki Wachee Swamp Festival, Inc. mission is to serve the community of Hernando County, FL by organizing and hosting the annual fundraising event known as The Weeki Wachee Swamp Fest for the benefit of granting operational funds to other Hernando County community based organizations. The Weeki Wachee Swamp Festival, Inc. is run by a passionate and dedicated all volunteer committee whose combined skills make it a true community event.
The Weeki Wachee Swamp Festival has grown from a small local community fundraising festival to a statewide annual event, attracting thousands of fun seekers daily and featuring more than a hundred arts, crafts and food vendors. Along with a great variety of food to enjoy, the entertainment program includes dancers, folk, country and instrumental music throughout throughout the weekend. The Swamp Monster contest has always been a favorite with the crowd and with clever and widely creative costumes, kids and adults alike, vie for the cash prizes.
The Weeki Wachee Swamp Festival, Inc. is an Internal Revenue Service approved non-profit 501(c)(3) organization that means your contributions are tax deductible. Be a part of this community event by making your tax-deductible contribution payable to the Weeki Wachee Swamp Festival, Inc. and mailed to the address on this letter.

WE ONLY PROVIDE THE SPACE FOR YOUR MERCHANDISE TO BE SOLD. THE RENTAL OF A BOOTH SPACE(S) IS AT YOUR OWN RISK. WE ARE NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR ANY LOSS YOU MAY INCUR. IT IS THE SOLE DISCRETION OF VENDOR COMMITTEE TO APPROVE OR DENY APPLICATIONS.
The Weeki Wachee Swamp Festival is a volunteer, non-profit organization with the sole intent of raising revenue to support community needs. The Festival in no way endorses any political party, political action group, petitioner, or any party individual we deem as such a group.
Swamp Festival Rules
• Upon arrival, participants must check in to receive their registration packet. Spaces are pre-assigned and ARE FINAL. All booths must be set-up by 8 AM Friday March 6, 2020 and your prize donation (if applicable) will be picked up.
• Vehicles will be permitted in the park for unload and pick-up. All vehicles must be in the assigned vendor parking area by 8AM and may not enter the park until 5:30 PM Fri-Sat. or 4:30 PM Sun.
• All vendors are restricted to distributing information/products at their booths so as not to impede the flow of traffic
• Political participants must establish a direct affiliation to Hernando County, either in political candidacy or in representing issues of concern to the areas.
• Participants must be present during the entire festival. No one is permitted to breakdown their booth before 4 PM on Sunday unless prior arrangements are made). Failure to follow this rule will result in ineligibility for future Swamp Fest events.
• Coffee & treats will be available at no charge in the Sweets Booth in the Food Court until 9 AM each morning
• Participants must provide their own tents, tie downs weights, tables, chairs, etc. and have complete responsibility for their own exhibits. Please keep all areas clean and dispose of trash and litter in designated places.
• Electricity will NOT be at this event. Generators with a noise level exceeding 70 decibels will NOT be allowed.
• Pets are NOT permitted at this event. Please make other arrangements for their care.
• Vendors are NOT permitted to offer items that launch projectiles (toy guns. bow & arrow, slingshot, etc), raffle rickets, soda, water, asked goods, hot dogs or anything deemed to be exclusive to Weeki Wachee Swamp Fest.
• No helium balloons are to be given for advertisement due to environmental concerns. H.E.L.P. is one of the Festival Organizers.
• Any group or individual found to be in violation of these rules will be put on notice. Failure to comply with any request by Festival personnel will result in eviction form the park and ineligibility to attend the Festival in the future. Festival personnel reserve the right to refuse entrance or effect anyone deemed disruptive.
•Participants must prominently display the ID card showing name and space number on your tent and the parking pass must be prominently displayed in your vehicle (provided in Packet to be picked up at Vendor check-in).
